(love) delusion

A delusion is commonly defined as a fixed false belief and is used in everyday language to describe a belief that is either false, fanciful or derived from deception.

Love has always been my one delusion; love will always be my one delusion. I try hard to believe that it's real. Maybe I lost touch with reality a long time ago. Love is so hard to understand, but I prefer a scientific approach most of the time. Along those lines, love is nothing more than a common chemical reaction in our brains(?) Since it can be observed and documented, I must assume it's true (because it's measurable). The pomo crisis is the the knowledge that not everything true is good.

A long time ago I read a book called Molecules of Emotion and the book has such a good title, I realize in retrospect. Throughout my life, I have struggled to understand love. I've read hundreds of theories, some scienctific. Intimacy + passion + decision = the magical love equation. Love between family members is one of the biggest jokes nature and society play on us. I never make lasting friendships- platonic love still unknown. I play the game, but life's a gamble. Copy/paste: Spiritual Goal- To learn the meaning of selfless love. Since I don't have much love in my life, I have to do things I love. Alone in my head, I have to be content to love myself, which isn't always the easiest thing in the world.

I'm the only person who knows what's real.
