What happens when people have had myspaces for 5, 10, or 20 years!? Pretty soon, people are going to live their whole lives on the Internet, you'll be able to see them as children then as dead bodies.

This leaves the burden of accountability- if you haven't done anything monumental or relevant, all your peer group knows. In a way, it makes one "famous" although it seems like voyeurism/exhibitionism comes into play a lot, communication is simplified, and permitted to take place constantly. Sometimes I think myspace was designed to be an answering machine.

Never before have we been able to use technology to connect to one another in such a fundamental and consistent way. The internet has made us all 1, it is in and of itself, 1 digital consciousness.

I've already seen dead people's myspaces, and it's creepy. People still leave them comments! Is a myspace, ultimately designed to be nothing more than a tombstone- a slight autobiography left behind on the internet?
