WASHINGTON (AP) — In a high-tech shift accelerated by the recession, the number of U.S. households opting for only cell phones has for the first time surpassed those that just have traditional landlines.
-> I first noticed this trend many years ago, when I realized that nobody I knew had a house phone, because everyone already had a cell. I finally have a treo, and I'm so glad to have cell phone after not having one since february... long story about getting mugged at 3 in the morning.
