guns

Guns are part of our everyday lives. Obviously, I wish guns were never invented in the first place, but since we can't go back in time and kill all of the slave owners who started the united states, one has to make due with the current situation? I don't feel as though I was predisposed to liking violence- through the help of medical professionals I now understand violence to be a common coping mechanism common in abused children. I've always felt like peace is ideal (and would be reality if people wanted it) but the fact of the matter is that in the here and now, guns are a staple in out lives; and by the way, if somebody like me or D-Na$$ty can get a gun then it must be pretty fucking easy to get shot on the street. I kid?

It makes sense- easy to get, easy to use, and legal = a recipe for disaster?

Anyways, A while ago I found a better outlet for my aggression via the shooting range. It's so exhilarating to hold a gun in your hands and unload it into the target- a paper outline of a person. You even get to keep it as a reminder of the fact that when it comes down to it, you can preserve your life (or rob banks). Since guns are legal I plan on being able to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. It's one of the most powerful experiences I've ever had in my short, young life. Even though I ultimately intuitively feel as though guns should be outlawed, I'm fucking stoked I can get my hands on that shit, and then use it. My advice- Don't fuck with me, because I have nothing to loose. I think all queer people should own guns. Thank Buddha for the queer gun chapter in the bay area.
