
I see no reason why the past exists. I never look back only forward. Maybe because I love to speculate on what could be possible instead of what is. I find myself quick to abandon old ideas, identities, friendships, basically anything that I see as outdated or no longer necessary. I see no value in history. Obviously, humans are more fucked up than ever, so one can't argue that we learn(ed) anything from history. If we were learning from past mistakes we would have reached utopia a long time ago, and that's obviously not the case.
I find myself more and more saying to myself "If I knew then what I know now." I also constantly think "I can't believe I've become that person
