Race Relations
Race does not exist biologically. All these constructions of race are culturally created.
I'm mixed, so it doesn't matter who I date, or even with whom I'm interacting, it's always going to be interracial.
I personally am only physically attracted to black, mexican, and to a lesser extent white men. I've tried to make myself be physically attracted to asian men but I'm not able.
But what I have to say about my preferences is irrelevant... living on the earth for almost 30 years has given me plenty of time to really observe the way people interact and feel about other groups of people... perhaps being mixed has made it easier for me to interact with other ethnic groups, so I can observe them from the inside out.
Obviously, white people seem to be "all or nothing" when it comes to accepting other ethnic groups... either they're totally cool with minorities or they hate anybody who's not white. Also, a lot of times white people single out a certain group- i.e. middle easterners, jews, gays, etc, and are cool with every group aside from which ever one has been chosen to be scapegoated.
It seems obvious that asian people don't like black people but spend their entire lives wishing they could be white.
Black people seem to be pretty accepting of white people, asians, and mexicans so long as they feel like they're not being disrespected.
Mexicans seem to warm up to white or black people, but I have never really experienced the nuances of how they feel about asians.
It's just like Jerri Blank says- Black on white, outta site, black on sloat, there ain't no hope...

SpaceX achieved another milestone for private space travel on Monday by carrying a satellite into orbit. It's hoped that the commercial operation may eventually be capable of carrying astronauts and cargo to the international space station, helping to fill the void after the U.S. shuttles go out of service. SpaceX may also pave the way for space tourism.

isolation
Recent psychological studies suggest that there are two types of loneliness.
Everyone needs someone to love, in a romantic and intimate way, and one kind of loneliness results from not having it.
At the same time, everyone needs to interact with everyone else, in effect to be social and have consistent interaction with friends, peers, colleagues, and even strangers and meeting new people.
So, essentially, you can have a stable relationship and still be lonely, or be completely surrounded by friends all the time, and still be lonely.
I've been doing better. I realize now that I have to be my own daddy, and make myself happy. I've been thru a lot and lost everything... but it was never mine to begin with. Failure and nothingness are the dominant themes to my life.
But I'm still ghetto as fuck. I'm about $25,000 below the poverty level. I know with certainty that I won't make it to 30 living like this, because I don't have the will to keep living a painful, meaningless existance full of suffering and submission. I hope something good happens to me.

how to tell when someone hates his or her self
It's impossible to tell what people are thinking just by looking at them. Just like everyone else, I like to keep people guessing... and just like everyone else I'm always trying to figure other people out... even though in the end I really don't care. Nevertheless, I always think about these 2 things I learned as small child:
Subtle Signs of Low Self Esteem
1. small handwriting
2. brushing your teeth on the bottom first, top last
I guess they've never been confirmed by a textbook, but I might just have not read the right textbook. I think it's real... do you?

Britney- psychological breakdown
I know this isn't the first time I've tried to dissect Britney Spears psychologically.
-> Unlike a lot of ppl, I did watch Britney: For the Record. I guess I'm blindly interested, because her personal breakdowns coincided with my personal breakdowns of the time. I noticed that when sad (but especially when angry) she still smiles. It must be left over from the disney days. In effect, she doesn't know how to emote anger.
